Congress wins 13 assembly seats, leading in 11 in Arunachal

Election was held for 49 constituencies of the 60 seats on April 9 last

Congress is inching ahead in Arunachal Pradesh to recapture power, with the party winning 13 seats and leading in 11 of the 60-member house.

Of the 13 results, Congress has won 11 seats uncontested.

According to the trends of 30 assembly seats available so far, Congress is leading in 11.

While Congress retained Dambuk and Namsang seats, PPA wrested Bordumsa-Diyun seat from the Congress, defeating Parliamentary secretary (Finance) C C Singpho of the outgoing Congress government in the state.
