Digvijay 'unaware' of reports pitching him against Modi

Congress is looking to field a strong candidate against Modi while Kejriwal has also decided to enter electoral fray from Varanasi

Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh today said he was unaware of some media reports which stated that he was expected to be fielded from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat against the BJP's Prime Ministerial nominee.

Some television channels have reported that Singh may contest the coming general elections against Modi from the temple city of Varanasi.

When contacted, Singh said, "I don't know. No one has spoken to me as yet."

The Congress is looking to field a strong candidate against Modi while Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal has also decided to enter the electoral fray from Varanasi to defeat the senior BJP leader.
