Aam Aadmi Party's national Convenor and former Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal today met Lt Governor Najeeb Jung and urged him to dissolve the Delhi Assembly and consider holding fresh elections.
"I met the Lt Governor and requested him to consider conducting elections in Delhi immediately. LG said he would consider," Kejriwal said.
Both BJP and Congress parties are not at all interested in having fresh elections in Delhi and it raises doubt on their intentions, Kejriwal said, referring to Supreme Court's observation.

"But during the overall observation, the court said that if Lt Governor wants he can consider ordering fresh elections to be held," Kejriwal said.
Noting that the matter "cannot be in limbo", the Supreme Court has listed further hearing on the petition by the Aam Aadmi Party on April 17. The petition challenges the President's Rule imposed in Delhi in February this year after Arvind Kejriwal resigned as Chief Minister.
Kejriwal also held BJP and Congress responsible for discontinuing the subsidy on water and electricity from April 1.
