Vehemently attacking both the Centre and the Kerala government, Narendra Modi today said Kerala had become the nursery of terrorism.
Kerala is famous as a tourism destination and is well known as the God’s own country, but now it has become the cradle of global terrorism, he said. Addressing a rally at Kasargod, Modi said there was an unholy nexus between the Left and Right fronts in the state. Each Front supports the other in order to come to power on alternate terms. Both of them have been trying to hide their mistakes, he said.
According to him, Kerala is among the ten states in India where atrocities against women is the highest. Among these states, six were being ruled by the Congress.

He also criticised defence minister AK Antony for his statement in Parliament which had helped Pakistan’s defence forces. The Pakistan media had praised Antony's stand. Antony said terrorists clad in the uniform of Pak Army were responsible for killing Indian jawans near the border.
Modi said 95 per cent of the arms and other equipment with the Indian Forces were outdated. Submarines too were obsolete. However, the defence minister did not have any knowledge about this. Even the chief of the Indian Navy had resigned. Around hundred defence aircraft had crashed during Antony’s tenure.
Modi blamed both the state and Centre for not implementing relief projects for endosulfan victims in Kasargod district.
The state also has a very good tradition in ayurveda medicines. But both the fronts had not utilised its potential. Today, Kerala’s economy mostly depends on NRI remittances from the Gulf region and other countries.
'We don't want this disabled sirkar like this. But want strong government at the center, he added amidst the clapping of hundreds of BJP workers. The tally of Congress in the next parliament will be less than 100. In most of the states in the North Congress performance will be very poor, he said.
