Modi calls ongoing polls 'election of hope'

He added that the world's biggest democratic exercise will bring a new change

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi termed the ongoing elections as an" election of hope".

Addressing a public rally in Chennai, Modi said the world's biggest democratic exercise will bring a new change.

"The people of country are convinced that this government is going, new government is coming. This election is not simply a negative election. This election is election of hope. People think that there will be a change and good days are soon to come," said Modi.

Prime ministerial candidate of BJP also added that he had never seen such a huge response from the public in any of the previous elections.

 

"I have seen to many elections in my life but I have never seen such a huge response in the election rallies and the proactive support from the people across the country," added Modi.
