As the day of polls is fast approaching in Tamil Nadu, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is set to campaign extensively in the state. His itinerary is expected to include a meeting with Tamil film super star Rajinikanth. This will be his fifth visit to the state and the most number of visits he had made to a state in south India.
According to sources in the BJP, Modi will reach Chennai on Sunday and is expected to meet Rajinikanth before noon. In the evening he will address a public meeting at A M Jain College, Chennai, the same place where chief minister and AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa had addressed a few weeks ago. Modi will leave Chennai on the same day and will return to the State on 16th and 17th to campaign in Krishnagiri, Coimbatore, Salem, Erode and Ramnad.
Senior BJP leader L K Advani also is likely to arrive on 18th.
While BJP leaders have been travelling widely around in the state, Congress leaders are still yet to make any visit, where the party is going alone in all the 39 constituencies.
