Says BJP wants fresh elections to be conducted immediately

Newly-elected BJP MP from Patliputra, Ram Kripal Yadav, today termed the resignation of Nitish Kumar as Bihar Chief Minister as "drama" and sought fresh elections in the JD(U)-ruled state.

"We want fresh elections to be conducted immediately," Yadav, who had left Lalu Prasad-led RJD before elections said.

He defeated Prasad's daughter, Misa Bharti in the recently concluded elections.

"The entire thing of Nitish Kumar tendering resignation was scripted. He is a good actor and has received special training in dramatics. He uses and throws people out. For him, power is like fish without water," Yadav told reporters after meeting BJP President Rajnath Singh at his residence here.

BJP leader Vinay Katiyar also termed as "scripted" the Nitish Kumar resignation issue.
