Around 94.24 % voters today exercised their franchise in repolling at 11 booths falling under Muzzafarnagar, Badaun and Firozabad Parliamentary constituencies.

"The polling remained peaceful," an Election Commission official said here.

After the allegations of booth capturing and rigging were brought to the notice of the Election Commission by the BJP, it ordered repolling at 11 polling booths in the State in Muzzafarnagar, Badaun and Firozabad Parliamentary constituencies.

Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's nephews Akshay Yadav and Dharmendra Yadav are contesting from Firozabad and Budaun constituencies respectively.

The Commission had declared the votes cast on these 11 booths as null and void under the Peoples Representation Act, 1951.
