A voter turnout of 55.32% was recorded till 4 pm on Sunday in the ongoing fourth phase of the Bihar assembly elections.

Voter turnout of 60.43% was recorded in West Champaran District, 55.77% in East Champaran, 54.70% in Sheohar, 55.37% in Sitmarhi, 54.78% in Muzaffarpur, 55.80% in Gopalganj and 49.83% in Siwan.

A total of 776 candidates are battling for 55 seats across seven districts of West Champaran, East Champaran, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Gopalgunj and Siwan.
