BJP Karnataka unit's first list of Lok Sabha candidates for the state would be announced by party National President on March 8, state party chief Prahalad Joshi said today.

"The first state list of party candidates for the Lok Sabha polls will be announced in Delhi by party's central election management and coordination committee," Joshi said.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting of State BJP Election Management and Coordination Committee here, he said the state unit had finalised the candidates list for all the 28 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

Asked whether the central leadership would release the entire list, he said, "We expect our central leadership to do so, but they will take a call on it."

Joshi said the party has found a solution to the confusion over the claim on the Bangalore North Lok Sabha seats. "We have found an answer to it," he said but did not elaborate.

Former Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda and former Deputy Chief Minister R Ashok have been staking their claim on Bangalore North Lok Sabha seat, with open critical utterances of both leaders against each other embarrassing the party.
