“The election victory is truly historic. I will show my gratitude to the people of Tamil Nadu with renewed vigour and fulfilling the poll promises made by the party. No word in the dictionary to describe my feelings and gratitude about the poll victory. I am overwhelmed by the resounding victory given by the people of Tamil Nadu. My party and I are indebted to the people of Tamil Nadu,” she said.
“After 1984, no ruling party in the state has been able to win an election and form the government for a successive term,” Jayalalithaa said.
"I don't have any other interest in life other than working for the people of Tamil Nadu. My life is dedicated to the people of Tamil Nadu and work for their betterment till her last breadth".
“I also have faith in them. I am by the people and for the people,” she said.
“I did not have any mega political alliance. I had faith in god and people of Tamil Nadu,” said Jayalalithaa, adding that she will fullfill all the promises which was made in the manifesto.
