Karnataka Election: 11,000 police personnel deployed in Bengaluru

 

Ahead of counting of votes in Karnataka on Tuesday, 11,000 police personnel, one Rapid Action Force (RAF) company and 20 Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) companies have been deployed in Bengaluru.

The police have banned celebrations, processions and bursting of crackers around the 38 counting centres in the state and deployed additional forces in the area around those centres.
