	The Congress party ended Bharatiya Janata Party&#39;s (BJP) 15-year reign in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday. Congress won 114 seats in the state&#39;s 230-member Assembly. Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath met Governor Anandiben Patel on Wednesday to stake claim to form the next government in the state.</div>

	The meeting, in which he was accompanied by party leaders Jyotiraditya Scindia and Digvijaya Singh, came after the Bahujan Samaj Party and Samajwadi Party pledged their support to the Congress.</div>

	MP Congress media in-charge Shobha Ojha declared on Wednesday evening that the newly elected members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) had unanimously chosen their leader. Though she did not reveal the name, sources said the state party chief Kamal Nath--who has earlier served as a Union minister--would be the next chief minister of the state.<br />
