Allahabad Bank Board plans to raise up to Rs 2,000 crore

Allahabad Bank's share issue and allotment committee of the board of directors will consider the modalities of raising equity capital of up to Rs 2,000 crore on October 13 through various modes of securities.

The Bank's proposed capital raising up to a ceiling of Rs 2,000 crore is inclusive of premium, according to a regulatory filing.

Allahabad Bank's scrip ended the day at Rs 67.70, up 0.30 per cent from its previous close onAllahabad Bank share the Bombay Stock Exchange.
