Allahabad Bank FY05 net up 15%

Allahabad Bank today reported a 14.72% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 557.36 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as against Rs 485.82 crore in FY04.

According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 3,840.21 crore in FY05 from Rs 3,457.98 crore in FY04.

The board has proposed a final dividend @ 15% on capital of Rs 446.70 crore including equity capital of Rs 100 crore on account of the follow-on public offer, the release added.
