Andhra Bank, the lead bank for Ganjam district in south Orissa, has prepared the Annual Credit Plan (ACP) for 2009-10 with a total outlay of Rs 941 crore. This is 14.61 per cent higher than the bank’s plan outlay for 2008-09 which stood at Rs 821crore.
The major portion of the bank’s outlay is earmarked for crop loans, agriculture term loans (ATLs), allied activities and other priority sectors (OPS), said the lead bank manager RN Senapati.
The growth rate of credit flow in the priority sector for this fiscal has been projected at 23 per cent. Out of the total outlay of Rs 941 crore, the allocation in the priority sector is Rs 855 crore, which is about Rs 162 crore more than the allocation in the previous fiscal.
