Bajaj Allianz aims big in MP, Chhattisgarh

Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company is looking at a turnover of Rs 380 crore from the next fiscal year in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
 
The company, with 8,000 agents and a sales team of 560, has registered a business of Rs 100 crore last year and during the rest of the month, it is expected to swell by another Rs 40 crore.
 
Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance CEO Sam Ghosh said, "Our products are widely accepted in both the states and we will be able to post a higher growth rate, and in the coming year our business will cross Rs 140 crore."
 
He also said the company has plans to increase the number of branches from existing 28 to 60.
