Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company plans to open more than five satellite offices in Gujarat. This will be in addition to the four full fledged offices it already has in the state. |
Kamesh Goyal, CEO, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, who was in Surat on Friday said: "Bajaj Allianz was launched in July 2001. In these three years, the company's performance has been exceptional and we have got a very food response from our customers." |
The company has its offices at Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara and Surat. |
"Bajaj Allianz would be opening new offices in areas which are potential premium earning segments. These offices will not be full fledged offices, but will be supported by the nearest branch offices. This is a new concept among the private general insurance companies," Goyal said. |
"Bajaj Allianz has been able to create a niche in Gujarat with it's world-class and customer oriented products. During the last year, our premium collections in Gujarat were around Rs 45 crore. This year we expect to garner premium collections of Rs 70-75 crore," he said. |
"We have been operating in Surat since last three years. Last year, our premium collections in Surat were between Rs 4 crore and Rs 5 crore. This year, we want to touch the Rs 12-crore mark. Our Surat office has set exemplary claim settlement record of settling claims within two weeks of receiving all documents," Goyal said. |
Goyal added: "Bajaj Allianz is the only general insurance company which has released a white paper on the claims we have settled. We are settling around 90 per cent of the total claims received, which is much higher than the other private general insurance companies." |
