Bank of Baroda ups lending rate by 50 bps

Responding to the Reserve Bank of India's signal on January 25 to rein in inflation, Bank of Baroda has increased its benchmark prime lending rate by 50 basis points from 13.25% to 13.75%, and the base rate by 50 basis points from 9% to 9.5% with effect from February 4, 2011.
