Global investment bank, Nomura, today announced the appointment of Birendra Agarwal as Managing Director and Chief Information Officer for Nomura Services, India.
Agarwal will be based in Mumbai, a press release issued here said.
He will report globally to Simon Lucocq, Global & Asia-Pacific Wholesale CIO and locally to R K Rangan, President & CEO, Nomura Services, India.
Agarwal brings more than 20-years of leadership experience in managing information technology for financial services in the US and UK.
At Nomura Services, India, he is responsible for managing the technology support across global business units such as equities, fixed income and investment banking, the release added.
