Central Bank CMD to launch rickshaw finance scheme

Central Bank of India CMD S Sridhar will launch a rickshaw finance programme in the Uttar Pradesh capital on November 9. The programme under the aegis of Rickshaw Federation aims at facilitating rickshaw pullers to own their rickshaw units and thereby bringing them under the formal banking system. Sridhar will hold meetings with the state government officials in this regard.
