Central Bank of India not to raise base rate

In last few days all top private banks, some PSUs have increased their base rates

Mumbai based public sector lender Central Bank of India doesn't plan to increase base rate immediately.
 
Rajiv Rishi, chairman and managing director, Central Bank of India said, ''as of now we don't plan to increase lending rates.''
 
In last few days all top private banks and couple of public sector banks have increased their base rates following liquidity tightening measures by Reserve Bank Of India.
