Central Bank of India, a public sector lender, today announced that it has raised Rs 300 crore from bonds to meet capital requirements and fund business growth.
"Bank has raised capital in the form of Upper Tier-II Bonds to the tune of Rs 300 crore," Central Bank of India said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Shares of the Central Bank closed at Rs 38.20, down 0.52 per cent on the BSE today.
