Citibank India has recorded a 14.09 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 325.4 crore for the year ended March 31, 2002. Profit before taxes was up 22.78 per cent to Rs 773.4 crore in fiscal 2002 from Rs 629.9 crore the previous year.
Interest income of the bank rose 8 per cent to Rs 1910.16 crore compared with Rs 1754.90 crore in the previous year. Other income was up 51.56 per cent from Rs 529.66 crore in fiscal 2001 to Rs 802.8 crore.
