Private sector lender City Union Bank on Saturday said its net profit rose by 26.55 per cent to Rs 40.65 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, over the corresponding period last year.
Total income rose to Rs 278.58 crore against Rs 246.64 crore last year, the bank said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). It earned an interest income of Rs 242.57 crore in the quarter against Rs 206.49 crore last year.
