City Union Bank net up 34%

City Union Bank has reported a net profit of Rs 61.58 crore for the quarter ended September, as against Rs 45.75 crore during the year ago period, an increase of 34 per cent. From Rs 284.98 crore, total income rose to Rs 336.08 crore, up 17 per cent.

Gross non performing assets (NPA) came down to 1.26 per cent from 1.99 per cent in the year ago period. Net NPA declined to 0.54 per cent, as against 1.16 per cent in the corresponding period last year.
