Corp Bank business up

Corporation Bank's total business as on March 31 stood at Rs 45,808 crore, recording a growth of 23.50 per cent over the previous year.

In absolute terms, the total business of the bank grew Rs 8,697 crore during the year. The total deposits of the bank rose from Rs 23,221 crore as on March 31, 2004, to Rs 27,281 crore on March 31, 2005, registering a growth of 17.5 per cent.

Meanwhile, the advances of the bank stood at Rs 18,527 crore as on March 31, 2005 showing an annual growth of over 33 per cent.
