The Kerala-based private Catholic Syrian Bank proposes to mobilise Rs 1000 crore in the current fiscal, a top company official said.
The mode of mobilisation of the capital would be decided at the next meeting of the bank's Board of Directors, CSB Chairman S Santhanakrishnan told reporters here today after the bank's 89th AGM.
The possibilities of issuing public issue, rights shares and qualified institutional placement would be explored.
Replying to a query, he said the question of shifting the CSB headquarters from Thrissur did not arise at all.
Addressing the AGM, the Chairman admitted that the bank's performance was not encouraging.
K S Sharma (Hyderabad), V Krishnamorthy and Bobby Jose C were elected as the new directors.
