Dena Bank has increased interest rate of Foreign Currency Non Residential (FCNR) accounts for the maturity between 3-5 years by a percentage point . It has however kept rates unchanged for FCNR deposits maturing below 3 years.
The bank will now pay an interest rate of 4.78% for FCNR deposits above the maturity of 3 years and less than 4 years instead of 3.78 earlier while it will pay interest rate of 5.17% instead of 4.17% for the deposits maturing between 4-5 years. It will pay interest rate of 5.56% on 5 year maturity FCNR deposits instead of 4.56 earlier.
