The Dubai International Financial Centre would hold two international conferences  in India focussing on banking, finance and investment in October.

Supported by the Federation of the Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the confrences will be held in Mumbai on October 27 and in New Delhi on October 29.

About 300 top industry professionals from the UAE, India and other regions are expected to participate in the conferences.

Titled 'India: Investments, Opportunities and Synergies', the conferences will explore and evaluate potential investment opportunities available to investors, companies and financiers in both the countries.

In recent years, UAE has emerged as the second largest market globally for Indian products. Indo-UAE trade is today estimated to be over $18 billion.
