Federal Bank's ATM network has been linked to the IndiaPay National Financial Switch (NFS) managed by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).

This is India’s largest network of shared ATMs, which connects around 61,200 ATMs across 44 banks all over India, the bank said in a press release here.

The tie-up would enable Federal Bank’s customers access to all these 61,200 ATMs spread across the country and all the cardholders of the 44 member banks can also access 759 Federal Bank ATMs.

All these ATMs together handle a daily average volume of 3 million transactions.

By joining the network, the bank will be able to achieve greater utilization of its ATM network and provide better service to its customers located across all geographical locations.

Federal Bank is already connected to the Visa and MasterCard networks, thereby enabling its ATM-cum-Debit cardholders to access more than 1.5 million ATMs across the globe.
