FII inflows cross $10bn, Re moves up 45.04/$

Net inflows of foreign institutional investors (FIIs) crossed the $10-billion mark today.

According to data released on the Sebi website, FIIs' net buying on Friday totalled $587 million (buying - Rs 4,012 crore, selling - Rs 1,326 crore). The total inflows for the current year now stands at $10.11240 billion.

Sustained inflows saw the rupee move up to a two-month high of 45.04 per dollar today as agains the last weekend close of 45.36 per dollar.
