Forex reserves decline $599mn to $272.95bn

Foreign exchange reserves declined $599 million to $272.95 billion for the week ended December 14, according to data released by Reserve Bank of India today.

Foreign currency assets dropped $596 million to $264.16 billion.

Gold reserves and SDRs were unchanged at $8.36 billion and $3 million, respectively.

Reserve Position in the IMF was down $3 million at $430 million.
