Forex reserves dip by $1.9 bn

India's foreign exchange reserves fell by $ 1.9 billion to $ 317 billion for the week ending August 5, 2011 on account of revaluation in the foreign currency assets. According to the Reserve Bank of India, the foreign currency assets dipped by $1.8 billion to $ 284 billion.
