Forex reserves drop $126mn to $204bn

Foreign exchange reserves declined $126 million to $204.009 billion for the week ended May 4, according to the weekly supplement released by the RBI today.

Foreign currency assets declined $377 million to $196.500 billion. Gold reserves increased $252 million to $7.036 billion.

SDRs were steady at $11 million, and the Reserve position in the IMF was down $1 million at $462 million.
