The country’s foreign exchange reserves rose $1.26 billion for the week ended February 7 to $292.33 billion, show Reserve Bank of India (RBI) data released on Friday. Foreign currency assets rose $1.26 billion to $265.83 billion.
Gold reserves, however, remained unchanged.
The Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) fell $1.3 million to $4.43 billion, while the country’s reserve position with the International Monetary Fund was down $1.5 million to $1.99 billion.
