Foreign exchange reserves rose $857 million for the week ending June 27 to $315.78 billion, shows Reserve Bank of India (RBI) data released on Friday. Foreign currency assets, a key component of reserves rose by $851 million to $288.81 billion.
Gold reserves remained unchanged during the week. For the week under review, the Special Drawing Rights rose $4 million to $4.46 billion, while India’s reserve position with the International Monetary Fund was up $1.7 million to $1.72 billion.
