Forex reserves rise to $317.85 bn

Foreign exchange reserves rose $813.2 million for the week ended July 18 to $317.85 billion, according to Reserve Bank of India data released Friday. Foreign currency assets, a key component of reserves, rose $829.1 million to $291.05 billion. Gold reserves remained unchanged during the week. For the week, Special Drawing Rights fell $11.5 million to $4.45 billion.
