Forex reserves slip to $129.112bn

Foreign Exchange Reserves dipped $2.068 billion to $129.112 billion for the week ended January 7 when compared with the preceeding week's $131.18 billion, according to a weekly statistical data released by the RBI.

Foreign Currency Assets fell $2.042 billion to $123.122 billion from $125.164 billion touched on December 31, 2004.

Gold reserves gained $42 million to $4.582 billion, while SDRs remained unchanged at $5 million. Reserve Trache Position dipped $18 million to $1.403 billion for the week ended Jan 7.
