Forex reserves up $266mn at $129.38bn

Foreign exchange reserves increased $266 million to $129.378 billion for the week ended January 14, 2005, according to the weekly supplement released by the RBI on Saturday.

Foreign currency assets moved up $252 million to $123.374 billion. Gold reserves and SDRs were unchanged at $4.582 billion and $5 million, respectively. The Reserve Tranche Position with the IMF was up $14 million at $1.417 billion.
