Forex reserves up $811mn to $141.24bn

Foreign exchange reserves increased $811 million to $141.24 billion for the week ended February 17, 2006, according to the weekly statistical supplement released by the RBI today.

Foreign currency assets moved up $815 million to $134.806 billion. Gold reserves and SDRs were unchanged at $5.680 billion and $3 million, respectively.

The Reserve Tranche Position with the IMF declined $4 million to $751 million.
