Forex reserves zoom $5bn to $185bn

Foreign exchange reserves zoomed $5.031 billion to $185.078 billion for the week ended February 9, according to the weekly supplement released by the Reserve Bank of India today.

Foreign currency assets increased $5.119 billion to $178.084 billion. While gold reserves was steady at $6.529 billion, SDRs declined $8 million to $2 million. The Reserve Tranche Position with the IMF dropped $80 million to $463 million.
