Fullerton starts health campaign in Kerala

Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd, a leading player in the non-banking finance space, in its efforts at reaching out to the community as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative, has kicked off its environmental health campaign in Thiruvananthapuram.
 
According to a Fullerton India spokesperson here, the cleanliness initiative is aimed at inspiring and empowering people to promote individual hygienic practices that directly impacts public health.
 
"Through the programme, Fullerton India is advancing the cause of public health and hygiene. At the same time, it strives for a greater public participation in such activities. The programme has been designed to bring together businesses, community groups, schools, governments and individuals in a range of activities and initiatives that positively improve local environment," the spokesperson said.
 
As part of the initiative, the NBFC kicked off its cleanliness initiative from Pulimoodu Junction to Statue and Pattom in the city with the support of the staff of the company's Trivandrum branch employees and the public.
 
GS Sundararajan, managing director and CEO, Fullerton India, said that the company has as its vision to care, and make a difference in the lives and future of its customers. "Corporate social responsibility is an integral part of our business. As a responsible corporate entity, we are committed to deep rooted relationships with the communities around which we operate in," he added.
 
With Thiruvananthapuram being a key market for the company, Fullerton India is currently focusing on providing financial solutions to 'mass market' customers belonging to the middle and lower income segments, he added.
 
The company operates two branches in Thiruvananthapuram, and follows a relationship-led, community-based business model with close proximity and engagement with the customer to effectively reach out to them, the spokesperson added.
