HDFC Bank Q2 net up 31%

HDFC Bank today reported a 31% increase in net profit at Rs 199.64 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 when compared with Rs 152.29 in the quarter ended September 30, 2004.

According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income moved up to Rs 1,283.05 in Q2FY06 from Rs 867.42 crore in Q2FY05.
