HDFC Q2 net up 20%

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) today reported a 20.49% growth in net profit at Rs 298.98 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005 as against Rs 248.13 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2004.

According to a release issued by HDFC to the BSE today, total income increased 24.29% to Rs 1,048.45 crore in Q2FY06 as against Rs 843.54 crore in Q2FY05.
