High inflation rate may prove spoilsport

 The fear in the market is that a rising inflation will push up nominal interest rates.

 This in turn could have an adverse impact on the bond market. The feeling in the market is that the yields will not go down.

 Market participants feel that at a time when the interest rates are holding steady it would be advantageous if the regulator allowed
