ICICI Bank is set to buy out the credit card division of Tata Finance. The two companies were in the final stages of negotiations, and a deal is to be inked within the next fortnight, executives of both the firms confirmed.
Tata Finance had launched the network card along with American Express in 2000. ICICI Bank is now considering various options for the card portfolio.
It will either continue the same relationship Tata Finance had with American Express, or bring the customers within the ambit of ICICI Bank
