ICICI Securities launches Active Trader Service in CBE

The Active Trader Service, an offline trading platform of ICICI Securities was launched here today by the company for the first time in Tamil Nadu.

Being a service for active traders, ATS would provide specialised research and personalized service, with the aid of latest technology and infrastructure, T S Harihar, Senior Vice President of the company told reporters here.

He said ATS has been witnessing healthy growth with its client base expanding by 20 per cent month-on-month and volumes increasing by 50 per cent month-on-month.

Position calls, technical picks, momentum picks, roll over monitor, open interest insight, special situation arbitage and pair calls were some of the products offered, he said.

On the reasons for selecting Coimbatore, Harihar said the city has a unique mix of high quality educatinal facilities and the dynamic entrepreneurship of over 40,000 Small and Medium Enterprises, providing a natural fit for customers to engage in informed trading in equity and derivatives.

The service has already been launched in many cities, including Jaipur, Pune, Kochi, Indore, Ludhiana, Rajkot and Surat, Harihar said that about 10 to 12 centres would be opened across the country this fiscal.
