Iirm In Search Of Rangachary Successor

The Institute of Insurance and Risk Management (IIRM) is looking around for a new chairman following the retirement of N Rangachary, former chief of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Irda).

IIRM, aided by Irda and registered as a non-profit organisation, was set up in July 2002 in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh Infrastructure Investment Corporation together with other founding institutions.

Rangachary said that since June 9 he is neither connected with the Irda nor the IIRM. He retired as Irda chairman on June 9.
