India's forex reserves up $858 mn

India’s foreign exchange reserves rose by $858 million to $ 318.35 billion in the week ended October 21, mostly on fluctuation in value of international currencies.

According to Reserve Bank of India data, foreign currency assets were up by $861 million in the reporting week to $282.51 million.

The value of gold reserves remained unchanged at $28.66 billion.
